Subfloors
The subfloor as well as the room climate conditions must meet the requirements of the applicable standards and data sheets. Subfloors must be permanently dry, solid, level, free from cracks, dirt and adhesion-inhibiting substances.
Apply appropriate Wakol levelling compounds to severely uneven subfloors. The technical information on the primers and levelling compounds must be heeded.
Lay PVC and CV flooring on non-absorbent subfloors with the pressure-sensitive bonding method. Bonding during the pressure-sensitive bonding phase may allow increased residual indentation characteristics.
Usage
Stir adhesive well before using. Using a notched trowel, apply uniformly on the subfloor, without letting the adhesive pool. Precisely lay the flooring after an appropriate airing time and press it down firmly. After a short time, press it down again.
Rubber flooring and LVT flooring must generally be laid while the adhesive is still wet and a floor roller should be used again approximately 1 hour after laying.
For non-absorbent subfloors, wait until the start of the bonding phase before laying the floor covering. After a short time, press it down again.
